Intel i9-10980XE
Terraria's resource profile is low, and one high-clock core is more than enough.
View plansTerraria servers are among the lightest game servers; a vanilla world runs on 1-2 GB of RAM. With tModLoader the requirement rises noticeably, especially for large content mods such as Calamity.
These values map one to one onto the VDS plan steps in our catalogue. Intermediate values can also be selected in the configurator.

World size (small/medium/large) and the mod list are the main variables. A large world with a big modpack can exceed 4 GB. On the CPU side single-core performance is enough, as the Terraria server does not benefit from many cores. Storage needs are low, but leave space for world backups.
Most game servers run on a single thread, so per-core performance matters more than core count.
