With a dedicated server the whole machine is reserved for one customer: every core of the processor, all of the memory and the disks run your workload alone. The difference from a virtual server is that no virtualisation layer sits in between — your operating system talks to the hardware directly, you get full access to the disk controller, and you can install your own virtualisation layer on top of the machine if you want. At Datafex all of these servers run in our own cabinets at the DGN Data Centre in Bursa.
Four values decide the choice. Processor: multi-core parallel work (compilation, video encoding, container density) benefits from core count, while single-threaded work (most game servers, reporting queries) benefits from turbo frequency. Memory: holding the whole hot data set in memory is far faster than falling back to disk, so RAM is usually the first limit on database workloads. Storage: every model listed uses NVMe SSD; account for random write intensity as well as capacity. Network: port speed varies between 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps depending on the model. The list above lets you compare these four fields side by side and narrow the in-stock models with filters.
Every server on the list is located at the DGN Data Centre in Bursa. The backbone the cabinets attach to runs over a redundant uplink; transit capacity is 100 Gbps domestic and 10 Tbps international. For projects serving users in Türkiye, a domestic egress gives lower latency than a location abroad. Volumetric attacks are removed at distributed nodes and on the DPDK + VPP router, and Fexwall filters spoofed and application-layer traffic between L4 and L7. The protection is not a separately sold add-on but part of the service on every dedicated server, and project-specific rules are defined from the customer panel.
Dedicated servers are handed over through a manual process rather than automatic provisioning: once payment is confirmed the in-stock machine is reserved for you, the Linux distribution or Windows Server edition you chose is installed clean, an IP address is assigned, and access details are shared on the service detail page in the customer panel. Delivery therefore takes longer than a virtual server that opens within minutes. After installation the operating system and application layer are yours to manage; for anything on the hardware, network or location side you can open a support request from the panel. Invoices, renewals and service details live in the same panel.
The three answer different needs. On a virtual server the hardware is shared, but a resource increase takes minutes from the panel; this is the most flexible option for projects whose resource needs have not settled. On a dedicated server the hardware is single-tenant and performance is predictable, while adding RAM or disk requires hardware work and a short maintenance window. With colocation the hardware stays your property and you buy only cabinet space, uninterrupted power, cooling, redundant networking and attack protection from us. That option suits teams that already own server hardware or need configurations the standard catalogue does not cover.
With a rented dedicated server the hardware is ours. If you already own a server, you can host it in Datafex cabinets at the DGN Data Center in Bursa: the hardware stays yours, while cabinet space, power, cooling, redundant connectivity and layered DDoS protection come from us.
