Intel i9-10980XE
Valheim's resource profile is modest, and a high clock keeps physics and world simulation smooth.
View plansA Valheim dedicated server runs with a default cap of 10 players and modest resource needs. Memory use is driven less by player count than by how much of the world has been explored: as the map opens up, both the save file and the in-memory world state grow.
These values map one to one onto the VDS plan steps in our catalogue. Intermediate values can also be selected in the configurator.

The amounts in the table are the monthly net price of the Intel I9 10980XE plan and match the calculation in the configurator. Billing period (3, 6, 12, 24, 36 months) and extra resources are calculated there. Some recommended values exceed this product's maximum, so the price is calculated from the configuration clamped to that limit; for higher resources, review the dedicated servers.
Prices exclude VAT (20%).
A vanilla server runs comfortably on 4 GB. When BepInEx mods such as Valheim Plus raise the player cap and lift build limits, memory needs can double. Regular backups matter because a corrupted save of a widely explored world cannot be regenerated.
Most game servers run on a single thread, so per-core performance matters more than core count.
