- How much RAM does a RedM server need?
- It depends on the player count. Our recommendations: 1-32 players: 8 GB RAM and 4 vCPU; 32-128 players: 16 GB RAM and 8 vCPU; 128+ players: 32 GB RAM and 16 vCPU. Pick the next tier up as mods, plugins and map size grow; you can upgrade RAM later from the customer panel without reinstalling.
- How much does RedM server hosting cost?
- RedM server plans start from ₺1,410/month + VAT with 8 GB RAM, 4 vCPU and NVMe storage. The price depends on the vCPU, RAM and disk you choose; the table on this page lists current monthly prices for the recommended plans by player count. Fexwall DDoS protection is included in every plan.
- Do RedM and FiveM servers need the same hardware?
- On the CPU side yes, both are bound by the same CitizenFX main-thread constraint and depend on single-core performance. The difference is storage: because RDR2 assets are larger, RedM typically needs 1.5-2x the disk and slightly more RAM at the same slot count.
- How many vCPUs does a RedM server need?
- Because the main workload runs on one core, adding vCPUs alone does not increase performance. Three to six vCPUs cover most roleplay servers; clock speed and IPC of the core are what matter. Extra cores help side services such as MySQL and a voice server.
- How much storage should I allocate for streamed assets?
- The base framework and default assets sit around 15-25 GB. Once custom clothing, horse, weapon and map packs are added, the 60-120 GB range is common. Storage growth can be requested from the panel; shrinking storage is not supported in order to avoid data loss, so it is better to pick comfortable headroom from the start.
- How quickly is the server ready?
- Provisioning starts automatically once the payment is verified and usually completes within minutes. The IP address and login details appear in the service detail page of your customer panel. You install RedM yourself, and you can request a prepared template for it.
