Server Solutions
You use the same VDS infrastructure for very different jobs. The pages below explain how much resource each use case needs, how the setup works and what tends to go wrong.
Which limit fills up first?
Every page here sells the same VDS infrastructure, but the workloads do not hit the same wall. When RAM runs out first the server starts swapping and everything slows down together — that is the first wall people meet when they run several terminals, bots or WordPress installs on one machine. When vCPU runs out the slowdown is not steady but sudden: a bot encoding audio, a cart query on a campaign day or an archiving job running overnight fills a core and queues everything else.
The storage limit usually comes from latency, not capacity. In nearly all of these scenarios the database runs on the same machine as the application, so every query carries storage latency straight into page load time. That is why every plan uses NVMe SSD.
A practical order: size RAM for the peak of your workload, size vCPU for the number of jobs running at the same time, and pick storage last with headroom above today's data size. The entry tier for each scenario below was calculated in that order, and the amounts are read live from the catalogue.
Shared hosting, VDS or a dedicated server?
The decision comes down to three questions: who maintains the system layer, whether the resources are reserved for you, and whether sharing hardware is acceptable. On shared web hosting PHP, the database, email and SSL arrive ready and updates stay with us; for a single blog or company site that is usually the right answer.
The reason to move to a VDS is normally a need that does not fit inside a hosting plan: your own PHP settings, a Redis object cache, Docker, a service you wrote yourself, or a remote desktop session. On a VDS the vCPU, RAM and NVMe storage in the plan are reserved for you and we never oversell the virtualisation layer. vCPU, RAM and storage upgrades can be requested later within the limits the product allows, and the price difference is shown before you approve it.
A dedicated server is the step you take when you want the whole machine, when you need more than 64 GB of RAM on one box, or when licensing or compliance rules out shared hardware.
Provisioning, management and infrastructure
Provisioning starts automatically once the payment is verified; you choose the operating system at order time, and the IP address, username and password appear in the service detail page when it completes. From the customer panel you can start, stop and reboot the server, reinstall the operating system, follow CPU, RAM, storage and network metrics, and manage the rDNS record for eligible IPv4 addresses.
On every plan traffic passes through layered DDoS protection: volumetric attacks are removed at distributed nodes and the router, the rest by Fexwall between L4 and L7, with automatic protection against spoofed source addresses. The servers run on Datafex owned cabinets inside the DGN Data Center in Bursa, Türkiye, on a network backed by a redundant uplink with 100 Gbps domestic and 10 Tbps international capacity.

Every page here sells the same VDS infrastructure; what changes is the resource guidance and the setup steps. If you are unsure which plan fits, calculate it in the configurator or open a support ticket.
Frequently Asked Questions
- I am not sure which scenario page applies to me.
- Look at the page for whatever the server will spend most of its time doing. The product underneath is the same VDS on every page; what changes is the resource guidance, the setup steps and the mistakes people make in that particular job. If your question is really about the operating system, the Windows Server and Ubuntu pages cover that choice on their own.
- Can I run several of these jobs on one server?
- Yes, and most customers do. Add the tiers together when you size it: if you plan to run the 4 GB recommended for a WooCommerce store next to the 2 GB recommended for a couple of Discord bots, starting at 8 GB is safer, because the peaks can land at the same moment. Leave one spare vCPU, and remember the storage is already pooled on the one machine.
- Do I have to rebuild the server if the workload grows?
- No. You can request vCPU, RAM and storage upgrades within the limits the product allows, and the price difference is shown before you approve it. Shrinking storage is not supported in order to avoid data loss, so it is better to add storage when you need it than to over-buy it on day one.
- What fits a workload that is not listed here?
- The table above gives you a starting point: pick the tier closest to your memory needs and then change the resources to taste in the configurator. The ranges are wide — RAM from 1 GB to 64 GB, NVMe storage from 30 GB to 250 GB and up to 32 vCPU on the widest product. If you are unsure about a workload, open a support ticket and we will size it with you.
