Intel i9-10980XE
Valheim's resource profile is modest, and a high clock keeps physics and world simulation smooth.
View plansA Valheim dedicated server runs with a default cap of 10 players and modest resource needs. Memory use is driven less by player count than by how much of the world has been explored: as the map opens up, both the save file and the in-memory world state grow.
A Valheim server is designed for a small group of friends progressing through one world together; the game itself suggests a limit of around 10 players. The server software is installed through SteamCMD and keeps the world file in memory. That is the detail that shapes the resource plan: RAM needs grow with how much of the world has been explored, not with player count. A wide world played for months needs noticeably more memory than a fresh one with the same number of players. Because the server runs largely on a single thread, per-core performance matters rather than core count. The autosave interval sets the disk write load.
These values map one to one onto the VDS plan steps in our catalogue. Intermediate values can also be selected in the configurator.
| Players | RAM | vCPU | Storage | Intel i9-10980XE | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-10 | 4 GB | 2 | 80 GB | ₺910,00 / mo | Vanilla dedicated server with a single world. |
| 10-20 (modlu) | 8 GB | 4 | 160 GB | ₺1.970,00 / mo | BepInEx mods, a raised player cap, large builds. |
| Çoklu dünya | 16 GB | 8 | 320 GBmax 250 GB on this product | ₺3.600,00 / mo | Several worlds or server instances on the same machine. |
The amounts in the table are the monthly net price of the Intel I9 10980XE plan and match the calculation in the configurator. Billing period (3, 6, 12, 24, 36 months) and extra resources are calculated there. Some recommended values exceed this product's maximum, so the price is calculated from the configuration clamped to that limit; for higher resources, review the dedicated servers.
Prices exclude VAT (20%).
A vanilla server runs comfortably on 4 GB. When BepInEx mods such as Valheim Plus raise the player cap and lift build limits, memory needs can double. Regular backups matter because a corrupted save of a widely explored world cannot be regenerated.
Most game servers run on a single thread, so per-core performance matters more than core count.

View plansThe order matters when moving a live server: back up the game files and the database on the old server, install the same version on the new one, import the database, then update the address your players connect to. Move the database last — if both servers stay online together for a while, player data splits in two and cannot be merged afterwards. Do not shut the old server down until the new one is verified.
If you get stuck on a step, open a support ticket; we help with the installation steps.
Fexwall L3/L4 DDoS filtering is included free on every plan. That is the layer a game server needs; a CDN in front of HTTP does not protect the game's UDP traffic.
Every plan uses NVMe SSD. The database runs on the same machine as the game server, so storage latency turns directly into in-game stutter.
Servers are in Türkiye, at the DGN data centre in Bursa. Transit is 100 Gbps domestic and 10 Tbps international.
Setup completes automatically within minutes. Extra IPs, rDNS and firewall rules are managed from the customer panel.
